Since joining RMS Energy in 2024, Brian has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth through strategic mergers and acquisitions and a steadfast focus on client success.

Before becoming Chief Revenue Officer, Brian served as Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at RMS Energy, where he led transformative initiatives to expand the company’s market presence. His extensive career spans leadership positions at industry leaders such as CE Power Solutions, Qualus Power Services, and Rumpke Consolidated Companies. Throughout his career, Brian has demonstrated a talent for energizing sales performance, forging strong client relationships, and building high-performing teams. Notably, his leadership has resulted in record-breaking sales achievements and significant improvements in operational efficiency.

Brian’s approach combines strategic vision with a hands-on leadership style, enabling RMS Energy to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions in a competitive market. His expertise in contract negotiation, market development, and cross-functional leadership has been instrumental in fostering lasting partnerships and expanding the company’s service offerings.

Brian lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife of 24 years, Kathryn Sarah Wilson, and their three children: Brody, Jocelyn, and Jaxson. The Wilson family enjoys spending time together watching and playing baseball, as well as relaxing on lazy weekends at Norris Lake. In his free time, Brian enjoys the outdoors and cherishes moments with his family.

With over 25 years of experience spanning human capital strategy, executive leadership, and talent development, Kristy brings a depth of expertise that will strengthen our people, culture, and growth.

Most recently, she led her own consulting firm, Redbrick Insights, advising both founder-led and private equity-backed companies on aligning their people strategies with business goals. Before that, she served as CHRO at Qualus, a national provider of electrical engineering and field services. During her six years there, she built and scaled programs across recruitment, acquisition integration, training, and operational HR.

Her earlier experience includes 11 years as the head of HR in financial services at Newport Group and a decade in the staffing industry, where she honed her skills in sales and recruiting—giving her a well-rounded perspective on workforce dynamics.

Outside of work, you’ll find her courtside cheering on her 15-year-old daughter at volleyball tournaments across the country. She brings with her a strong sense of family, camaraderie, and a competitive edge—qualities that make her a natural fit for our culture.

Charlotte Lange serves as the Chief Legal Officer at RMS Energy, bringing over a decade of experience in the power opportunities sector. Since joining RMS Energy in 2024, Charlotte has been instrumental in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and advancing the company’s strategic initiatives.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Charlotte now calls Boston home. She earned her undergraduate degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, her law degree from Boston University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Outside of her professional life, Charlotte enjoys traveling, staying active through workouts, and spending time with her three children, often chauffeuring them to their various activities. Her passion for innovation and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable leader at RMS Energy.

Jow Ortiz brings over 27 years of experience in the energy industry to his role as Chief Technology Officer at RMS Energy. Joining the company in 2024, Jow has quickly become a driving force behind RMS Energy’s innovative solutions and commitment to operational excellence.

A native of Miami, Florida, Jow now resides in Coral Springs, FL. He earned his degrees from the University of Miami and the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he developed a strong foundation in engineering and technology.

Jow is passionate about problem-solving and finding ways to optimize systems to ensure seamless operations. Outside of work, he enjoys all things water-related, from diving and swimming to surfing. When he’s not on the water, you can find him tackling new trails on his mountain bike.

Jow’s dedication to innovation and his hands-on approach make him an invaluable member of the RMS Energy leadership team.

As Chief of Staff for RMS Energy, Leslie Goforth plays a key role in driving organizational efficiency, strategic initiatives, and executive operations. With a strong background in business and management, Leslie ensures that RMS Energy’s leadership and teams are aligned for success.

Leslie graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Hospitality Management and Business, equipping her with exceptional leadership, communication, and operational skills. Her ability to coordinate complex projects and foster collaboration makes her an invaluable asset to the company.

A proud resident of Northern Kentucky, Leslie enjoys spending time with her husband, Jim, and their three daughters, Lailah, Harper, and Kennedy. She is a passionate sports fan, cheering on Kentucky Basketball and the Cincinnati Bengals, and enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, and relaxing at Lake Cumberland.

With a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the energy and utilities sector, Ike Ratliff brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as President of ERS at RMS Energy. Ike’s journey in the industry began in 1994 as an industrial electrician in the Cincinnati area. After completing a rigorous five-year apprenticeship, he honed his skills as an electrician until 2003, demonstrating a keen ability to navigate and excel in complex technical environments.

In 2003, Ike transitioned to CE Power, where he served as Division Manager for the Cincinnati area, leading the division with a focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction. His leadership and strategic vision were further recognized when he joined ECI in 2009 as a Field Service Manager. During his tenure at ECI, Ike’s contributions significantly enhanced field operations and service delivery until 2015.

Ike’s career took a new direction in 2015 when he joined the University of Cincinnati as a Senior Automation Systems Engineer. His role evolved rapidly, and by 2017, he was appointed Assistant Director of Utilities, overseeing critical infrastructure and utility management.

In 2018, Ike joined RMS Energy as Operations Manager, a position that marked the beginning of his influential journey with the company. His exceptional performance led to successive roles as General Manager of Operations, Director of Operations, and eventually Vice President of Operations. Under his leadership, RMS Energy has achieved significant growth and operational success. Additionally, Ike currently serves as the President of Electrical Reliability Solutions, further extending his impact within the organization.

Ike’s diverse professional background is complemented by his hands-on experience in various roles. His varied experiences have shaped his pragmatic approach to leadership and problem-solving.

Residing on a 100-acre farm in Northern Kentucky, Ike is deeply rooted in his adopted home state. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mandy, boating, offshore fishing, and farming—although he humorously claims to be “the world’s worst farmer.” Ike shares his home with his best friend, an 80-pound pit bull named Mya, who is a constant source of companionship and joy.

Education-wise, Ike graduated from Madison Central in 1991 and attended EKU and NKU. His formal training includes an industrial electrical apprenticeship completed from 1994 to 1999.

Brian O’Neil is the President of ESS at RMS Energy, where he has been a key contributor since 2019. With over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, Brian is recognized for his strategic leadership and expertise in optimizing operational efficiency.

A native of Louisville, KY, Brian earned his Master’s degree from the University of Louisville’s Speed School of Engineering. His academic background, coupled with his practical experience, has equipped him with a deep understanding of the complexities and demands of the energy industry.

Brian is distinguished by his professional credentials, including a NETA Level III accreditation and professional engineering license. He is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including IEEE and CIGRE, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements and best practices.

Outside of his professional life, Brian resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife and daughter. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys boating, fishing, hunting and golfing, finding balance and inspiration in his diverse interests.

Joe Durante is the President of Growth and Strategy at RMS Energy, bringing over 30 year of deep industry experience and leadership to the role. His distinguished career includes significant tenures at renowned companies such as Westinghouse, ABB, VA Tech, Mitsubishi Electric and Hyosung-HICO, where he honed his skill and contributed to transformative projects within the energy sector.

A Pittsburgh native, Joe’s commitment to excellence and innovation in transformer technology reflects his deep-rooted connection to the region and its storied industrial legacy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, which underpin his strategic vision and technical acumen in the industry.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Joe is a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoying the camaraderie of game days with his family. He and his wife have two beautiful teenage daughters. Joe’s personal interests include golfing, playing tennis and he is currently exploring the exciting world of pickleball.

Teresa Giese serves as the Senior VP of Finance at RMS Energy, where she has been a pivotal member of the team since 2018. With a strong background in both Accounting and Communication, Teresa brings a comprehensive perspective to her role, ensuring robust financial management and strategic planning for the company.

A graduate of St. Cloud State University, Teresa holds degrees in Accounting and Communication, equipping her with a unique blend of analytical acumen and effective communication skills. Her educational foundation and 18 years of professional experience have enabled her to adeptly navigate complex financial landscapes and contribute to RMS Energy’s continued growth and success.

Residing in Minnesota with her husband and two daughters, Teresa is deeply engaged in her community. She enjoys a variety of activities, including traveling, golfing and participating in outdoor pursuits. Teresa is also a dedicated volunteer, giving back through her involvement in local organizations and causes. In her downtime, she indulges her passion for reading, finding balance and inspiration through literature.

Kyle Wattenbarger is the VP of Revenue Management at RMS Energy, where he brings a wealth of experience and dynamic approach to driving growth and innovation. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kyle has a proven track record in developing strategic initiatives and leading high-performance marketing teams.

With over 20 years in the energy sector, Kyle has consistently demonstrated a knack for identifying market opportunities and crafting strategies that enhance brand presence and drive revenue. His leadership is characterized by a commitment to excellence, customer-centric solutions, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and results.

Outside of his professional achievements, Kyle is a dedicated father of two and enjoys watching his kids play soccer. His passion for coaching and supporting their activities reflects his belief in teamwork and the importance of nurturing potential, both on and off the field.
