The Power of Unified Collaboration
Some of our most impressive accomplishments this year were rooted in moments of true, cross-divisional collaboration. The Field Services (ERS) team worked seamlessly alongside our Transformer, Bus, and Engineering divisions. This combined expertise, backed by strong project management, allowed us to deliver full, turnkey solutions that are unique in our industry.
This strength was demonstrated repeatedly: during a critical substation outage, our team completed testing on 3 GSUs, 4 auxiliary transformers, and 4 HV switches. We executed this two-week scope safely in just one week to accommodate other critical outages in the substation, showcasing our ability to adapt under pressure without compromising quality or safety.
Furthermore, our readiness proved vital during a major emergency. While performing full electrical testing and commissioning of a control house and switchyard, a manufacturer’s fault was discovered on the C phase while energizing. Our team quickly responded to retest the 230kV breaker after the fault occurred and then assisted with the breaker change out the very next day. This decisive action and rapid support prevented extended downtime.
Whether supporting major outages or executing complex electrical testing programs, these efforts proved the unmatched strength of our in-house capabilities and the decisive power of unified teamwork. When our teams come together, big things happen.
